2026 Wisconsin State USBC Open Championships Underway
The 2026 Wisconsin State USBC Open Championships officially got underway on January 17th at Rev’s Bowling & Entertainment Center in Oshkosh, marking the start of another exciting championship season for bowlers from across the state.
The opening ceremony featured one of our favorite traditions — the ceremonial first ball rolled by our annual “Joe Bowler.” This year’s honor went to Josh Berg of Green Bay, who proudly represented everyday league bowlers from around Wisconsin and helped kick off the event in front of participants, volunteers, and spectators.
Two Centers, One Championship Experience
As in recent years, the Open Championships will be conducted across two venues:
- Team Event: Rev’s Bowling & Entertainment Center (Oshkosh)
- Doubles & Singles (Minor Events): Ledgeview Lanes (Fond du Lac)
This two-center format allows us to welcome a large field while maintaining a smooth and competitive tournament experience for all participants.
A Big Season Ahead
We expect approximately 2,000 teams to compete between now and the tournament’s conclusion on May 3rd, making this the largest and most anticipated event on the Wisconsin State USBC calendar. With challenging lane conditions and a strong field each weekend, the Open Championships continue to showcase the depth of talent across the state.
Still Time to Get In
